OFULLBORDADE
PROJEKT:
Variety reports that the Coens' follow up to "O Brother, Where Art Thou?" has been in the planning stage for two years, but disagreements over budget between Fox and producers Richard Roth and Jeremy Thomas appear to have grounded the film -- despite the box-office muscle provided by Pitt's interest in the project.
PRODFAKTA:
In development since 1993, this project started at Universal, but was put in turnaround. Production is scheduled to start in the spring of 2002 in Japan and Canada, on a budget of $50-60 million, after Pitt wraps up filming of a sci-fi project with Darren Aronofsky .
MANUSFAKTA:
there is no dialogue after page 10 (since the main character doesn't speak Japanese)
